I got a betta today after planning this out for a week or so. He's a double-tailed cellophane betta, so you can actually see through his fins and skin! I named him Xanadu, and he's checking out his new tank right now. Every so often I catch him glass-surfing (I'm sure he must be stressed in a new environment), but he's often resting, or hiding behind (or in) a silk plant. He seems to like chilling in the purple one with the big leaves in the front, or sliding next to the fuzzy green one. Sometimes he tries to fight his reflection in the glass (as bettas are known to do...).
Overall, he's a cutie.
